A thread is a main post plus its replies, composed together and published in order. Networks with a native self-reply chain properly; networks without one refuse the thread rather than publishing a fragment.

You choose accounts, not networks — because two Pages, three Mastodon handles and one X account are six different destinations with six different outcomes.

Drafts that stay drafts

A post is a draft until you schedule it or publish it. Nothing goes out because a screen was left open.
