A 14-day trial instead of a free plan
Every new workspace starts on a 14-day trial of Pro, with no credit card taken. A free plan that quietly limits you teaches you the wrong thing about the product; a trial of the real thing does not.
Before the trial ends you are told exactly which connected accounts and which seats will stop being usable on the plan you are moving to — named, not counted. Nothing is deleted and nothing already scheduled is dropped. A workspace over its limits simply cannot add more.
The one thing that is metered, and why
X charges its API per created post — and twenty times more for a post containing a link. Every other network postfast publishes to is free per post. A subscription that averages that cost across everybody is either losing money or charging link-free posters for link-heavy ones.
So X is metered in credits that pass X's own ratio through: 1 credit for a plain post, 20 for one carrying a link. Your plan includes a monthly allowance and the composer shows the cost before you schedule.
Run out and X publishing stops until the month turns over — that is the whole penalty, and it is never a charge you did not agree to. Two opt-in ways out: buy a credit pack, or attach your own X app and pay X directly at your own tier.
- Credit pack
- 500 credits for $8 ($4 in India). Opt-in, one purchase at a time, and they do not expire.
- Your own X app
- Attach your own client credentials to a workspace and publish through them at your own X tier. Sealed at rest, returned by no endpoint.
- Every other network
- Free per post. Nothing but X is metered, because nothing but X charges.
Regional pricing
India buys at roughly half the list price. The region is resolved from the billing country the payment gateway reports — never from an IP address — and re-validated at renewal rather than trusted from signup.
| Plan | Monthly | Monthly (India) | Yearly |
|---|---|---|---|
| Creator | $12 | $6 | $120 |
| Pro | $29 | $15 | $290 |
| Studio | $69 | $35 | $690 |
| Scale | $149 | $75 | $1,490 |
Your price does not move while you are subscribed
Every subscription records the catalog version it was bought at, and is priced and limited by that version for as long as it lives. A price change applies to new subscriptions. That is enforced in code rather than promised on a pricing page.
Common questions
- Is there a free plan?
- No. There is a 14-day trial of the Pro plan that takes no credit card, and four paid plans after it.
- How many posts can I schedule?
- An unlimited number, on every plan. postfast is priced on connected accounts, seats and workspaces — not on how much you publish.
- What happens when my trial ends?
- You are told beforehand which accounts and seats will not fit the plan you are moving to. Nothing is deleted, nothing already scheduled is dropped, and a workspace over its limits simply cannot add more until it is back inside them.
- What are X credits and do I need them?
- They meter what X’s API charges to publish. One credit for a plain post, 20 for a post with a link, because that is X’s own ratio. Your plan includes a monthly allowance, and if you never post to X you never touch them.
- Can I use my own X developer app?
- Yes. Attach your own X credentials to a workspace and postfast publishes through your app against your own X tier. The credentials are encrypted at rest and returned by no endpoint.
- Will my price go up?
- Not while you are subscribed. Each subscription is stamped with the catalog version it was bought at and is priced by that version for as long as it lives.
- What happens if a payment fails?
- Dunning is a grace period, not a cut-off: retries run and the workspace stays entitled while they do. If it ultimately fails the workspace goes read-only — nothing new schedules, nothing already scheduled is dropped, and nothing is deleted.
