Seven networks, one composer
Each one connects differently, accepts something different, and fails differently. postfast describes all three honestly rather than flattening them into a logo wall.
X
Threads, scheduled posts, and an honest meter for what X now charges per post.
What it acceptsBluesky
App-password connection, native threads, and nothing charged per post.
What it acceptsThreads
Meta’s text network, with real thread chaining and a 500-character preflight.
What it acceptsInstagram
Business accounts through Instagram Login — and a guard that refuses a caption with no media.
What it acceptsFacebook
Facebook Pages through Login for Business, with room for long posts.
What it acceptsLinkedIn
Member posts through Sign In with LinkedIn — and no app review to wait on.
What it acceptsMastodon
Any instance, no developer portal, and a character limit your server gets the last word on.
What it accepts
What each network accepts
Read from the same capability table the composer warns from and the publisher builds payloads from — so this table cannot drift from what the product actually does.

| X | 280 | 4 | Native | No | Metered |
| Bluesky | 300 | 4 | Native | No | Free |
| Threads | 500 | 20 | Native | No | Free |

| 63,206 | 10 | Not supported | No | Free | |
| 3,000 | 20 | Not supported | No | Free | |
| Mastodon | 500 | 4 | Native | No | Free |
Common questions
- How many social networks does postfast support?
- Seven: X, Bluesky, Threads, Instagram, Facebook Pages, LinkedIn and Mastodon. All seven are built and publishing, not planned.
- Can I post the same content to all of them at once?
- Yes. One composed post can be aimed at every connected account at once, and each account becomes its own delivery with its own status. Publish Guard tells you in advance which networks that body will not fit.
- Which networks support threads?
- X, Bluesky, Threads and Mastodon have a native self-reply, so a composed thread chains properly on them. Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn do not, and postfast blocks a thread aimed at them rather than publishing only the first part.
- Does connecting a network cost anything extra?
- No. Plans are priced on how many accounts you connect in total, not on which networks they are. X is the only network with a per-post cost, because X’s API charges per post.
