Workspaces, members and roles
Every account, post and connection belongs to a workspace. Invite people into one, give them a role, and keep one client’s world entirely out of another’s.
The boundary is the workspace, and it is enforced once
A workspace owns its connected accounts, its posts and its members. Nothing crosses between workspaces — not a draft, not a connected account, not a scheduled post.
What matters is where that rule lives. In postfast, workspace scoping is applied centrally on every read and every write, rather than being remembered by each screen and each endpoint. A tenancy rule enforced in one place is a rule that holds; one repeated in ninety places is a rule waiting for the ninety-first.
The three roles
- Owner. The workspace belongs to them. Billing, deletion, and everything an admin can do.
- Admin. Runs the workspace day to day: connect and remove accounts, invite and remove members, publish.
- Member. Composes, schedules and publishes. Does not change who is in the workspace or what it is connected to.

Invitations by email
Invite somebody to a workspace at a role. They accept from the email; nothing is shared before they do.
Several workspaces per account
One login, several clients or brands, switched from the sidebar. How many you can have is a plan allowance.
Authorship recorded
Every post records who composed it. Access still comes from workspace membership rather than from matching that name.
Seats are a plan allowance
Each plan carries a number of members. The limit is enforced on the invitation rather than discovered later.
Common questions
- Can one person belong to several workspaces?
- Yes. Membership is per workspace and you switch between them from inside the app with a single login.
- What do the roles actually control?
- Owners handle billing and can delete the workspace. Admins connect and remove accounts and manage members. Members compose, schedule and publish. Everyone in a workspace sees its posts and its connections.
- Can I move a connected account between workspaces?
- No. An account is connected within a workspace. Connecting it in a second workspace is a second connection, which is also what makes the tenancy boundary meaningful.
